On Tuesday, representatives of Minera BioLantanidos met with the Regional Director of Conaf, Jorge Morales Gamboni, and part of his team to present in detail the mining project focused on so-called “Rare Earths”.
At the time the General Manager of the initiative, Metallurgical Engineer Arturo Albornoz, along with other members of the company unveiled the work that the mining is developing in its various areas, emphasizing that environmental aspects have been involved from a very early stage and that it will ensure the efficient use of resources.
During the meeting, Morales Gamboni said the mining initiative seems “very interesting” and said he had “learned a lot” about the world of the Lanthanides.
Meanwhile, during the day Albornoz met with managers of CORFO and the Regional Director of the Environmental Assessment (SEA), Mr. Nemesio Rivas, as part of the agenda of the mining with authorities from the area.
The main purpose of this agenda is to present the project BioLantanidos to the local authorities, as well as respond to questions they have about the initiative focused on the so-called “elements of the future”.
